Community guidelines

The table rules — last updated July 14, 2026

Every good campaign starts with a session zero: the conversation where the table agrees on what kind of game everyone wants to play. This is ours. These rules exist so that everyone at this table — queer folks, poly folks, monogamous folks, forever-DMs, first-timers — can show up as themselves and be treated well.

Be who your sheet says you are

Your photos must be of you, recent enough to be recognized. Your age must be real. Your intentions — what you're looking for, your relationship structure, whether you have partners — belong on your profile, not saved as a surprise for later. Roleplay belongs at the game table; your dating profile is the one place we ask you to play yourself.

Consent is the whole game

Nobody owes you a match, a reply, a date, or an explanation. "No" and silence both mean no. Repeated unwanted contact, guilt-tripping, and pressure of any kind are the fastest way out of the tavern. This applies doubly to the ENM and poly community here: honest non-monogamy is built on enthusiastic consent from everyone involved — including partners who aren't on the app.

No cruelty

Zero tolerance for harassment, threats, hate speech, or degrading anyone for their race, gender identity, orientation, body, disability, relationship structure, or anything else about who they are. Judging someone's kink, identity, or way of loving — when it's consensual and between adults — is not a debate topic here. Don't yuck someone's yes.

Adults only, everywhere, always

You must be 18 or older to be here. Any sexual content involving minors, any attempt to contact minors, and any misrepresentation of age results in an immediate permanent ban and, where appropriate, a report to law enforcement. No exceptions, no appeals.

Keep it clean in the commons

No nudity or sexually explicit content in profile photos — they're visible to everyone. Don't send unsolicited explicit content in chat, ever. What consenting adults share with each other once trust is established is their business; springing it on strangers is ours.

No hustles

No scams, no soliciting money, no advertising, no promoting your OnlyFans, no crypto evangelism, no recruiting for anything but your D&D party. Accounts that exist to sell something get removed.

Privacy is sacred

Don't share other members' photos, messages, or personal details outside the app. No doxxing, no screenshots posted for laughs. If someone's profile made you smile, tell them — not your group chat.

The game board is for games

The community board (Find a Game) is for organizing actual tabletop sessions. It is not a second feed for flirting. Treat applicants to your game like players, not prospects. People joining your one-shot did not swipe right on you.

Reports, and what happens after

Every profile and conversation has a report option. Reports are confidential — the person you report is never told who reported them. A human reviews reports and can issue warnings, remove content, suspend, or permanently ban accounts. We also retain records connected to safety issues, as described in our privacy policy.

If your account was actioned and you believe we got it wrong, contact support@sessionzero.love and tell us what happened. A person will look at it again.

Meet safely

We don't run background checks on members. When you take a connection into the real world: meet in public first, tell someone where you're going, arrange your own transportation, and trust your instincts over your politeness. If someone on the app made you feel unsafe, report them — you'll likely be protecting the next person too.
